শেখ হাসিনাকে তৃতীয় কোনও বন্ধু দেশে পাঠানো?

ভারতের সর্বশেষ সরকারি বক্তব্য অনুযায়ী, শেখ হাসিনার এবারের ভারতে আসাটা ছিল ‘সাময়িক’। পররাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী এস জয়শঙ্কর গত ৬ই অগাস্ট দেশের পার্লামেন্টে বাংলাদেশ পরিস্থিতি নিয়ে বিবৃতি দিতে গিয়ে এ প্রসঙ্গে ‘ফর দ্য মোমেন্ট’ (তখনকার মতো) কথাটা ব্যবহার করেছিলেন – এবং তারপর থেকে সরকার আর এ বিষয়ে নতুন করে কোনও ভাষ্য দেয়নি। তার কারণ হলো, শেখ হাসিনাকে নিরাপদ কোনও তৃতীয় দেশে পাঠানোর চেষ্টা এখনও পুরোদস্তুর অব্যাহত আছে। তবে সেটা যদি চট করে সফল না-ও হয়, তাহলে দিল্লিও তাকে রাজনৈতিক আশ্রয় দিয়ে ‘যতদিন খুশি’ ভারতে রাখতে কোনও দ্বিধা করবে না। পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয়ের একজন শীর্ষস্থানীয় কর্মকর্তার কথায়, “উই আর হোপিং ফর দ্য বেস্ট, প্রিপেয়ারিং ফর দ্য ওয়র্স্ট!” অর্থাৎ তিনি বোঝাতে চেয়েছেন ভারত এখনও আশা করছে শেখ হাসিনার ক্ষেত্রে সবচেয়ে ভালোটাই ঘটবে (তৃতীয় কোনও বন্ধু দেশে তিনি গিয়ে থাকতে পারবেন), কিন্তু সেটা যদি কোনও কারণে সম্ভব না হয় তাহলে সবচেয়ে খারাপটার জন্যও (শেখ হাসিনাকে লম্বা সময়ের জন্য ভারতেই রেখে দিতে হবে) দিল্লি প্রস্তুত থাকবে। বিবিসি জানতে পেরেছে, শেখ হাসিনার যুক্তরাজ্যে যাওয়ার প্রস্তাব প্রথমেই বাধাপ্রাপ...
